To the editor:

In the privacy of the voting booth, why take a chance on Donald Trump? A man who insults veterans as “losers.” Whose national security advisors, attorney general, secretary of defense, longest-serving chief of staff, foreign policy experts, and other Republican staffers — as well as leading conservatives like Dick Cheney — have called him a threat to our nation? No former president is supporting him. Even his current Vice President candidate once compared him to Hitler. Why take a chance on a perpetrator of sexual assault and a felon convicted by a jury of his peers? Who is 78, and refuses to release his medical records or tax returns?
