To the editor:

Next Tuesday, Bartlett residents will be voting on an amendment to curtail short-term rentals to areas zoned for commercial only. This amendment is not perfect, but will direct the planning board and selectmen to address the unrestrained spread of STRs into every neighborhood in town.

STR's are not the reason housing is so high. Stop that nonsensical lie. Housing is high all over the country. Homes have become unaffordable, even for the solid middle class. That has nothing to do with STRs pal. There are no STRs in my city but you couldn't afford a home here.
