To the editor:

This letter is addressed to the vandals who cut down and stole the Eaton Preservation banner at Crystal Lake. The banner was put up by the Eaton Village Preservation Society to raise funds to purchase land that was slated to be logged. This parcel overlooks Crystal Lake and could potentially scar the view of the Little White Church. It could also seriously impact the lake's watershed and damage a well-known wildlife corridor.
