Gun violence is a national pandemic that must be stopped. Gun violence has nothing to do with Second Amendment rights, video games or mental health. It has to do with the sheer number of firearms in the U.S. and the lack of leadership in our state and national governments to regulate them appropriately.Â
Mr. Burroughs, you realize that just because you call things 'common sense' does not mean it is so. The logic that we have so many shootings because of the number of guns is, well, not logical. You are clearly not a scientist. We had guns in schools in the 50's and 60's. Actual firing ranges. What has changed? Society has shunned religion and turned to the 'self'. The people committing these acts are sociopaths and Godless. That is what changed. You cannot have my guns.
