As usual, the toughest thing about a letter from Jim is to figure out where to start pointing out all the lies, errors, and torturous twisting of the few facts he tries to incorporate.

Walter Davis's last letter actually had a part in there that started with "I stand corrected", regarding Trump never being convicted of discrimination, and including the fact that the case was settled with no admission of guilt despite overwhelming evidence. Jim's claim that he should have been contrite or changed his opinion of Trump is typical Jim insanity. Trump was still clearly guilty, he just got the DOJ to let him off the hook. Getting off the hook while being clearly guilty is Trump's go-to move.

Walter didn't say Jim viewed Jan. 6th as a pajama party, he used it as an analogy.

No Jim, it's you that's wrong, the Constitution DOES provide due process for anyone on our soil, regardless of their legal status. The bought and paid for Supreme Court may decide to twist the Constitution yet again to allow Trump to escape it's correct application, but that doesn't change the fact that it's specified anyone on our soil has the right to due process except a very small sliver of people specifically named.

Walter's question of whether Pete Hegseth is culpable in the Signal scandal is a good one, as he clearly went on to violate the protocols again by having a Signal chat for his family members. One would think that would be more than sufficient to conclude Hegseth should be held accountable, especially in conjunction with his installation of unsecured communication equipment in his office.

In Jim's fantasy world, somehow Trump isn't responsible for driving away a large chunk of our Canadian tourists. I've got news for Jim; I talk to Canadian tourists daily in my job, and they're consistently telling me 50% of their friends that typically come to the US to vacation and shop are not doing so, as they are staying home and buying Canadian in a very definitive "screw Trump" mindset. There is no one else that is involved in their decision, it's all about Trump pissing them off with his stupidity about making them a state and his moronic tariffs.

Jim claims he's as outraged as anyone about the Jan. 6th rioting, and has said so. Really Jim? When was that?

Jim's claim that Walter Davis treated the Capitol as foreign ground to the MAGA clowns attacking it is asinine. Anyone that forced their way in during Congressional sessions is a rioter or invader. Walter didn't say they didn't have a right to be near the Capitol, but attacking it clearly makes them invaders.

Another letter from Jim full of absolute nonsense.
