To the editor:

I was happy to see our Republican and Democratic New Hampshire state legislators work together this month to table an amendment on House Rule 44. Had it passed, House Rule 44 would have allowed committees to table legislation without hearing from the public. Thankfully, our legislators voted for government transparency and ensured that each of us will retain the right to testify in public on issues we care deeply about.

Laughable...State Maga/Free Staters have no interest in bipartisanship. State Speaker and Free Stater Sherman Packard backed this bill. People need to wake up and realize that half of New Hampshire voters are essentially disenfranchised.
