To the editor:

I think it is finally time to hear from a drag performer or drag queen, whichever you prefer. A drag queen is a performer and is also known as an impersonator. I personally did drag in my 20s back in the 1980s and retired my alter ego only to revive her for White Mountains Pride. Drag queens have been a part of LGTBQ life long before there was a “Q.” The gay community through the decades has embraced and revered their queens.
