Peaceful protests are fine. Interfering with police is not. These "protesters" are doing the latter. They are attacking officers and their vehicles, throwing things like fireworks at them, touching them (that is assault), blocking their escape routes with vehicles, etc. These are not protesters, they are agitators who are inserting their bodies and hoping to capture officers reacting on video. Well, they got their wish.

Protest peacefully as you wish. That means stay on the sidewalk, do not block traffic, do not interfere when police officers are doing their job, and if you want to legally stop them, then join one of the many communist and socialist activist groups, and support their lawsuit. That is how we are supposed to resolve differences, not by pretending to peacefully protest when that is not what is happening in MN and elsewhere.

Stormtroopers with no legal right to do so demanding papers from citizens, assaulting them while they are well within their rights, pepper spraying them and murdering them while they are well within their rights are all things that would have fit in fine with Hitler's brown shirt thugs.
The protestors ARE peaceful, they are not interfering with "police", ICE agents aren't the police. They don't have the legal right to stop drivers, they are only allowed to ask people for anything if they have probable cause there is an immigration infraction.
