To the editor:

I have recently been lumped into an “over 65 and doesn’t like change” category. Well, I am 63 years old and I love change. In fact, I thrive on it. Just ask my family and friends. What I do not like is chaos, rudeness or mayhem. What I like even less are people, with their own self-serving agendas, shoving them down my throat, and waving the “violation of my property rights” card in everyone’s face when challenged. And most offensive are those who are violating the community zoning bylaws and illegally renting because that’s what they want to do and do not give a hoot about their neighbors or community or civil discourse.
