Trump is and was a successful businessman. Unfortunately for him, much of his wealth (especially in NYC) is in commercial real estate, which is currently not doing well. I'm not surprised that he has trouble getting financial institutions to cover a $500 million bond.
Does Trump inflate his net worth? Probably. Who cares?
Compared to the alternative, who took millions of dollars from foreign governments to enrich himself and his family, I'd prefer Trump. And this isn't even getting into the policy differences which are many and almost all of which favor voting for Trump in November.
Aren't you embarrassed by the "lawfare" that the Left is waging on a former president? Honestly, it is quite amazing and disgusting. Unfortunately, like a lot of the Left's terrible ideas, this is probably going to become the norm and our society will be worse off for it. Charging someone a civil penalty of $500 million dollars when there was no victim is outrageous. And in every one of these cases, norms are being broken and unique legal theories are being used to prosecute Trump. Can we all agree that none of this would be happening had Trump not been President? This is about retribution, plain and simple, and is why so many voters are going to do the only thing they can to object and voice their disagreement with this political strategy, which is to vote for Trump in November.
You neglect to mention the double standard that is in place.
Joe biden has committed real crimes. You could go as far as to say treason, just based on his china deals, and all the shell companies used to try to hide the facts.
Yet DonaldcTrumpnis handed unheard of penalties and fines for minor victimless violations....
