To the editor:

The overturning of Roe brings to mind something I heard decades ago regarding where Republicans stand on abortion — Protected in the womb. Abandoned at birth.

The irony Art, is that people like you like to portray republicans as racist but yet it's republicans who are trying to save all those black babies, not democrats. That is ironic. And refutes your hate belief. As far as supporting babies after birth, we spend hundreds of billions each year. School, free breakfast, free lunch, sometimes free dinner, Obamacare, medicaid, WIC, welfare, section 8, etc., etc., etc. And decades of tax returns show that republicans are more generous to charities by far.
