There is certainly some merit to this letter writer's remarks. Though, the defects with this particular plan are too great and the BOS has a responsibility to ensure that this plan is either modified to address these many defects or direct the Trails Association to present a less problematic plan. I believe we have a duty to protect the aesthetic in Whitaker from the convenient choice to use this part of town land for this project.
Paving may not turn the woods into a parking lot, but all the garbage from the discourteous people using the woods, even unpaved, is turning it into a dump.
