With more and more youngsters posting their pictures and other personal information on MySpace.com and other blog and social networking web sites, some parents and school officials are urging closer supervision of children on the Internet.Critics are concerned that predators could easily determine the identity of a child from their personal profile. They also point to provocative pictures and inappropriate postings about sex and drugs. Proponents respond that there are no documented cases of predators finding victims on these sites (as they have done through instant messaging and in chat rooms). They note that most of the postings on MySpace.com are innocent comments among friends allowing them to keep in touch after school. This week's question is: How do you feel about youngsters posting their profiles on MySpace.com and other blog and social networking sites?Call 356-2550 all day Saturday and Sunday and leave your comments on our machine.
