Since they can't seem to figure it out for themselves, our educational leaders and experts are resorting to crowd-sourced advice about what's wrong — no, no, I mean what's right — in Conway schools. The questions were composed and arranged by an all-female panel (a distaff trend becoming increasingly conspicuous at SAU 9), and they will be given to as select a population as possible.
In order to encourage answers the panel might prefer, the surveys themselves are only available in ways easier for parents, staff, and students to find than they would be for the general public. Additionally, the preferred answers are usually presented first among the multiple-choice responses, while the less acceptable are clustered near the bottom. With all its flaws, the survey smells like a plea to maintain the status quo, and to improvise an appearance of support for management in the face of mounting criticism.
