Mr. Shribman's attempt to normalize the socialists-communists that are currently in leadership positions in his party are disingenuous. They are not "tilting left," they are trying to fundamentally transform America. Remember what Presidents Obama and Biden said. Biden promised to be the most "progressive" president ever, and he didn't disappoint his far left supporters. The goal of the current Democratic Party is to continue moving Left such that socialists and communists are merely a bit further Left than the rest. Mr. Shribman is trying to "normalize" socialism. Democrats used to run away from that label, but now they embrace it. And their policies continue to chip away at individual freedom and liberty. But remember, it's all for a good cause, because the end justifies the means.
So go after the Billionaires today, and the greedy landlords, and the companies that are gouging the public. And when those bogeymen have been vanquished, the government will need much more money and the next tier of "greed" will be targeted until the only ones left with any money or power will be the socialists and communists at the top of the political system, and everyone else will wallow in equal poverty. That's what always happens when you let government take total control, which is what the Left is working towards.
As a wiseman once said, "Believe them when they tell you what they want to do."
1) Remove the filibuster
2) Pack the SCOTUS
3) Remove the Electoral College
4) Make DC and PR a State
5) Open our Borders
6) Remove the 2nd Amendment
7) Impeach President Trump
If Republicans were smart and had the intestinal fortitude (that's a stretch), they would get a jump on them and remove the Filibuster and pack the courts while they had the majority. Otherwise, once the Democrats regain control, it's game over. The Republicans will never be a majority again, and you can kiss the Constitution goodbye. We will resemble Europe, leaving China and Russia to split the spoils.
