The Conway Planning Board’s mission is to make our town a home where families can thrive. Yet, for families to thrive, families must first survive. The good work of the planning board on updating the master plan will provide a well-thought-out comprehensive path for our children’s flourishing futures. This path will lead to the much needed and long overdue changes in our zoning ordinances that will finally place families thriving above businesses prospering. Having witnessed the exasperated, including unhinged angry and hateful emotional and unproductive finger-pointing at the selectmen’s Jan. 2 meeting, it’s clear the people need and hunger for bold leaders to find newfound courage to lead us to better days.
