The COVID-19 virus has led to an unprecedented time in our nation’s history. Many stores are closed, food and toilet paper are being bought almost faster than they can be stocked, millions are losing their jobs because many businesses are being mandated to close down if deemed “non-essential,” and people are being told to stay indoors with the exception of “essential” travel.

Some of these restrictions have raised serious questions about what the government should be able to mandate, even in times of “national emergency,” when they deal with people’s constitutional liberties.
