To the editor:

There is no stronger advocate for women’s rights than Hillary Clinton. Twenty years ago at the World Conference on Women in Beijing Hillary Clinton famously said, “Human Rights Are Women’s Rights and Women’s Rights Are Human Rights.” That says it all. Throughout her extensive career she has fought for equal pay for women, access to health care, child care and education. As president, Hillary will never allow any government official to stand between a woman and her doctor when making personal health choices. As first lady of Arkansas, she chaired the Arkansas Educational Standards Committee, co-founded the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families, and served on the boards of the Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Legal Service and the Children’s Defense Fund. She has demonstrated time and again her commitment to the betterment of the lives of families, children and women, which, in the long run, can only strengthen our democracy.
