OSSIPEE – Embattled county commissioner Asha Kenney is leaving office in January. Chip Albee, the man she defeated in 2010, seeks to regain that seat, but he is being challenged by Dennis Miller in November's election.
Kenney of Wakefield is a polarizing figure in county politics. After a number of scandals, commissioners David Babson and David Sorensen went to Carroll County Superior Court to have her removed from office. However, her term ends in January and commissioners basically dropped their suit.
