JACKSON — Early this week, Jackson saw a Triumph-al return by some British invaders. That is to say, they came in Triumph TR-4s — and MGB convertibles, a Morgan with its curvy fenders resembling a miniature Rolls-Royce — even a Sunbeam Tiger (the “Maxwell Smart” car).

And no, it wasn’t the Redcoats. In fact, most of the “British Invasion” spoke French as their first language.
