CONWAY — Former Kennett High School chorus and performing arts teacher Holly Fougere, who has been indicted on seven counts of forgery, was in court Monday asking a Superior Court judge to schedule her case for a settlement conference type hearing, while not admitting any wrong-doing.
On Feb. 5, Conway police arrested Fougere, 43, then of Conway, on seven felony counts of forgery and one count of theft. Fougere resigned from her teaching position Jan. 30. A grand jury returned indictments against Fougere on April 18. An indictment means there is probable cause to believe a crime has been committed and is a step before trial.
