TAMWORTH — Sled dog fans are advised to not show up at Chocorua Lake this weekend, as the annual sled dog race has been postponed.

The Tamworth Sled Dog Race is a joint effort of the New England Sled Dog Club and the Tamworth Outing Club. The race has now been moved to Feb. 29-March 1. The race was first held on Chocorua Lake in 1937.
