CONWAY — The waste receptacles around North Conway Village have taken a beating over the past couple of decades, and selectmen on Tuesday discussed giving them an upgrade, but the town manager said that will be costly and may have to be done in stages.

The idea for a trash can facelift came from Rec Director Mike Lane, who was at the meeting recap the town's Fourth of July events. Toward the end of his presentation, Lane noted that the trash receptacles around Schouler Park are over 20 years old, with one social media commenter saying they look "tired."

Maybe one day and let’s hope soon that every decision to be made for the betterment of our Beloved Conway does not end up how about Trash Cans look like Dogs Etc. People use the Trash cans to clean out their cars trash. Everything is made into a dilemma.
