CONWAY — Students and staff across SAU 9 have had April 8 circled on their calendars for almost a year and excitement was mounting for the solar eclipse that day.

It was an early release day for students looking to view the eclipse with family members and the buses ran a little later for those staying on campus to watch the monumental event.
