CONWAY — The Conway School Board has signed over a new deed for the Community Building and the 4.3 acres it sits on to the town of Conway, but it wasn’t as simple a process as just Chairman Joe Lentini signing a piece of paper. One board member thought the property might be an asset the school district should hold onto.
The building at 1808 East Main St. in Center Conway, which includes the former Pine Tree School, was for about 25 years the site of the town’s parks and recreation department, until it moved into renovated space at Kennett Middle School last year.
