CONWAY — The Conway School Board voted unanimously Tuesday night to instruct Superintendent Kevin Richard and his staff to “provide detailed information on closing one elementary school and moving the sixth-grade class to the Kennett Middle School.” The board did not put a deadline on when it wanted that plan back.

Under Committee Reports, there was to be an update from the board’s Infrastructure Review Ad-hoc Committee which met on Dec. 6 and voted 5-0 to bring forward a recommendation to close a K-6 school and relocate the sixth grade to Kennett Middle School for the 2024-25 school year.
