CONWAY — The Robert Frost Public Charter School is reaching out for help after suffering losses of equipment and furniture due to Monday’s rains, which raised the nearby Saco River to rise over 17 feet.
According to Tracy Strout, board member and a teacher at the K-12 school, which rents space at the former Salyards Center at 110 Main St. in Conway Village, “Our school, not typically in a flood zone, experienced a surge of over three feet of water throughout our entire lower level.”
