CONWAY — “Scary" was the word three Conway School Board members used when they reviewed the latest minutes from the board’s facilities committee. Gale Associates and Siemens Engineering, the board’s building consultants, are recommending that more than $40 million worth of maintenance projects be done on buildings over the next five years.
“These are some pretty scary numbers,” Mike DiGegorio, the board chairman, who also sits on the facilities committee, said at Monday night’s board meeting in the Professional Development Center at the SAU 9 office.
