OSSIPEE — A New Hampshire Department of Transportation official confirmed to selectmen Monday that a roundabout at the intersection of Route 28 and 171 should mostly be completed done by the end of this coming construction season.

For years, selectmen have complained that the intersection's design makes it dangerous. An older Wakefield couple lost their lives there several years ago. Then a young girl was killed there last September.
