CONWAY — The intersection of Route 302 and East Conway Road where a Massachusetts couple on a motorcycle died in a collision with a pickup truck last summer will be improved in four years, if not sooner, a state Department of Transportation staffer told selectmen Tuesday.

The intersection was the scene of a fatal Labor Day crash involving a Chevrolet Silverado 2500 driven by Jackson Eugene Hammond, 84, of Palm Bay, Fla., and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle,
