MADISON — Four groups of short-term rental owners, backed by a local rental association, have sued Madison’s Zoning Board of Adjustment.

The lawsuits were filed in Carroll County Superior Court on June 18 by attorney Matthew Johnson of Devine Millimet & Branch, based in Manchester. The cases have since been transferred to the state Land Use Court in Manchester.
