CONWAY — Town officials will discuss next week a federal court decision that allows Leavitt’s Country Bakery to keep the artwork over its entrance that depicts doughnuts and muffins.

A lawsuit filed by Leavitt’s against the town, which defined the artwork as an oversized sign and not a mural, as Leavitt’s supporters call it, has cost Conway $143,000 so far.

This sign was created by Kennett High School students. You know they put their heart and soul into making this sign. That’s what makes it so beautiful.

Conway should have a bake sale to cover the cost.
