TAMWORTH — Voters in March overwhelmingly passed a groundwater protection ordinance, and now selectmen are trying to figure out how to enforce it.
Last Thursday, the board heard some suggestions from Effingham Zoning Officer Becca Boyden, who lives in Tamworth. Effingham is a town grappling with a controversial proposal, from Meena LLC to build a gas station in its Ground Water Protection District.
