JACKSON — On the ballot this year in Tuesday’s town voting is Article 2, which concerns a planning board proposal to regulate short-term rentals under the town zoning ordinance’s Section 4.4.

It would require the owner of a short-term rental to apply to the board of selectmen for a conditional-use permit and would set forth “a process for the selectmen to approve or disapprove the application for a conditional-use permit after planning board review.”
