JACKSON — Members of the now-dissolved Jackson Women’s Sewing Club and other dignitaries gathered at the Jackson Public Library last Saturday afternoon to celebrate the opening of the library’s new patio and pergola.

Dick Bennett, chair of the Jackson Board of Selectmen, addressed a crowd of about 25 people, saluting the $19,000 donation by the former club that helped create the new structures on the south end of the library.
