OSSIPEE — Jackson murder suspect Brandon Mitchell was in Carroll County Superior Court last Friday asking the judge to suppress statements he made to police claiming that he was intoxicated, sleep-deprived and distressed when he waived his Miranda rights two years ago.
Mitchell, 23, who is being held at the county jail, was indicted on multiple counts in connection with the shooting death of his girlfriend Esmae Doucette, 23, in November 2022 at the Dana Place Apartments in Jackson.
