CONWAY — Republican Nikki Haley, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations and former governor of South Carolina, is keeping a promise she made last summer. The first presidential candidate to hold a public event in the Mount Washington Valley (at the North Conway Community Center on July 6), Haley vowed to return.

And now she is coming to town enjoying plenty of momentum in her presidential campaign.
