CONWAY — A couple of prominent political names from opposite sides of the aisle will be in Mount Washington Valley today. Republican Gov. Chris Sununu plans to attend a number of events, while Democratic candidate Levi Sanders will be here on the stump for the 1st Congressional District seat being vacated by Carol Shea-Porter.

Sununu will kick off his day with breakfast in Wolfeboro and finish up in Jackson at the Wentworth Golf Course following the 38th annual Memorial Hospital Open.
