CONWAY — It might surprise many to learn that the largest girls' team this spring at Kennett High School was the lacrosse program. The Eagles had 39 come out for the sport, including a whopping 19 freshmen.

Those figures, along with the team's spending the past three years cementing itself as a program, led the Conway School Board to unanimously support the co-curricular committee’s recommendation Monday to make girls' lacrosse a varsity program in 2020.
