FRYEBURG, Maine — Non-resident swimmers, paddlers and tubers using Weston’s Beach this summer may need to pay a fee to park on the weekends as the town looks for ways to manage growing numbers of people recreating on the Saco River.
At their meeting last Thursday, selectmen directed Town Manager Katie Haley to work with the Saco River Recreational Council to hammer out an arrangement related to operation of the beach and canoe landing.
