CONWAY — A $2.2 million cut to the proposed 2025-26 school district budget recommended by the Conway Municipal Budget Committee would have “a dramatic impact” on student programming, says Superintendent Aimee Frechette.

The Conway School Board’s proposed budget of $41,637,542 (with $1,575,500 to be offset by grant sources) was not well-received by the bulk of the budget committee at a hearing on Feb. 12.
