LANCASTER — A North Country woman who was convicted of two felony counts embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from two different Colebrook car dealerships will spend up to 14 years in the New Hampshire State Prison a judge decided May 16.
Judge Peter H. Bornstein sentenced Tina Fournier to serve two consecutive 3½-to 7-year prison sentences. Fournier must repay the money to the victims as well. Fournier pleaded guilty to stealing about $350,000 from Brooks Chevrolet and later, Noyes auto dealership when its name was changed. The amount of the theft is possibly higher. The money was embezzled from the dealerships’ checking accounts. She also used company credit cards without prior permission, the court said.
