BARTLETT — A portion of Route 302 had to be closed briefly on Thursday afternoon after an oil truck caught fire. Fortunately, no one was injured and the cause remains under investigation.
According to Interim Bartlett Fire Chief Jim Langdon Jr., the department was toned out to a vehicle fire at the intersection of Alpine Village Road and Route 302 at Harry Roger’s Crossing (just west of the Attitash Ski Area) at 1:02 p.m.
