CONWAY — About 95 Papa Gino’s pizza restaurants and D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches have closed across New England in recent days, including the D’Angelo’s store located at 1833 White Mountain Highway in North Conway.

PGHC, the parent company for both restaurant chains, announced Monday it had “agreed in principle” to sell the business to Wynnchurch Capital portfolio company. The Dedham, Mass.-based PGHC also filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
