OSSIPEE — A majority of the Carroll County Commissioners Wednesday, decided not only will they not participate in a major lawsuit against the pharmaceutical industry but also that the topic cannot be brought up again until a new board of commissioners is seated in January.

The idea of joining a lawsuit was sparked last month when Strafford County invited Carroll and other New Hampshire counties to participate in a mass tort lawsuit. A mass tort means that the county would only be paid if it participates.
