CONWAY — Selectmen are searching for five professionals to sit on a new rental appeals board that will hear cases resulting from the newly passed rental inspection program.

On April 9, voters passed Article 24, to allow the inspection and regulation of long- and short-term rentals. It requires rental properties to undergo a life safety inspection. If they pass, town officials will grant them a certificate of rental compliance. The inspection program is an amendment to the town's Housing Standards code.
