CONWAY — The email sent by Selectman Carl Thibodeau to Library Director David Smolen, which riled a library trustee to the point of mentioning it at a public meeting last week, turned out to have simply been jabbing Smolen over letting cars park in front of the library even as he claimed the "sacrosanct" grounds should not be touched by a proposed road project.

The trustees were meeting to discuss possible impacts of the upcoming federal-state Main Street project on the library's grounds.
