CONWAY — The Conway Public Library held the groundbreaking of its Library Park Project on Wednesday afternoon, marking the beginning of a community-led investment in a new public gathering space in the heart of Conway Village.
More than four years ago, a group of volunteers began working to reimagine the underused park adjacent to the library. Plans were developed, guided by community input and Oak Point Associates, landscape architects located in Biddeford, Maine. The project was designed to create a safer, more welcoming and functional green space for children, families and the entire community.
