CONWAY — The Conway School Board’s Infrastructure Review Ad-hoc Committee is recommending that one of Conway’s three elementary schools be closed and all sixth-graders be move to the Kennett Middle School by the start of the 2024-25 school year. The committee also is recommending that a new K-8 school be built over the next five years, and when it is completed, the remaining two elementary schools, along with the middle school, should be shuttered.

There are five voting members of the committee — Davison, DiGregorio and Snow from the school board and Jost and Marvel from the budget committee. The vote was unanimous.
