BROWNFIELD, Maine — The little Brownfield girl who more than anything wanted a bunch of Christmas cards to make her holiday bright had her wish met when people sent her thousands of Christmas cards. She also got a visit from a miniature horse.
Melanie Bishop, 8, attends Molly Ockett School in Fryeburg, Maine, and was diagnosed with leukemia in April.
